Becoming A Vegetarian Why?  Why Not?
As the truth comes out in the future we will see the unbelievable growth of the vegetarian, a movement that could just possibly save the planet in which we live in.  Not many people know the amount of money and natural resourses that could be saved by simply having enough control of yourself to not just eat for taste, but to eat to be healthy and save countless amounts of animals, water, natural resources, not to mention greatly effecting our health in positive ways.  The estimation of animals killed in the U.S. alone is around 10 billion animals per year, and not always in the best mannor.  Most inlightened people know of the case of NFL football player Michael Vick, who was sentenced to prison for having dogs illegally fight and killed,  when there are so many animals killed and raised to be killed legally in the U.S. every year.  Is it the fact that dogs are human loved animals and not particullarly a cuisiine, we feel as if they are more important than other animals and turn our back on the rest of the animals.  People tend to live life in auto piolet sometimes just doing because that is the way they have always done and it is ok and its the way it is supposed to be no matter how much evidence is stacked against it.  Is knowing that not eating meat can reduce your chances of heart disease, cancer, and diabetes not enough to cook up another animal because it tastes good?  There are many other benefits besides the reduction of these diseases, for example having a stronger immune system, less pesticides from farmers that are ingested by animals and eatin by humans, more energy, and usually a lower body weight which is good for health.  Without eating meat the amount of starving children and adults could be greatly reduced because the amount of food an animal is fed is well unproportionate to the amount of food they end up as.  The amount of waste produced by these animals have a huge toll on our environment as run off goes into our lakes and streams and depletes our soils.  All this information and scientific study leads me to believe that we as humans are not supposed to eat meat or at least is should not be as big part of the diet as it is. What needs to happen to get the information to the people who have always consumed meat and get angry at the thought of outlawing meat becaue they are so used to it and believe it is normal?  The information is on the table now it is time for us to act on what we already know.  The task at hand is enourmous because of the countless fast food and almost all restaurants would surely not go down without a fight no matter how much it helps the public and animals because of huge profits that would be lost.  I believe that is where an important part of the problem lies people don't have time in their busy lives to take alot of time to think about what they are going to eat so they do whats convienient, what if all the choice we had was vegetarian they would be helped without even thinking about it.   Do you think its time to think about outlawing meat?  Its only a matter of time, but how long will it be?

I am currently in the process of writing an ebook and am accepting articles that will be included in it if you would like and also be posted on this site.  Just shoot me an email and I will try to get most of them posted.  Remember in order to change the way we eat and live it is going to take a hands on approach from all of us on a subject that most Americans seem to ignore.  Hope to hear from you soon!
